Paul Walker killed in crash

Post by J.D. »

Star of the Fast and Furious series Paul Walker has been killed in a fiery crash in Los Angeles. Walker was a passenger in his friend's red Porsche Carrera GT when it hit a light pole and a tree and burned. Both occupants died at the scene:

If I remember rightly he was about to go to abu dhabi to film a few scenes for the next one.

It is a damn shame. The irony is annoying, it is even more so annoying that he was only a passenger. The worst outcome of any vehicle accident is when the person(s) not in control suffer the consequences.

You are assuming he wasn't telling him to slow down.

This also has nothing to do with street racing, it's a charity event. It was however completely stupid indeed.

In the Video of him going to Japan to see the Mines performance cars he said he has gone around 185MPH on the Freeway.

Here is the video, 3m05s. video is not wanting to time code.

Who??? Seriously I only watched the 1st F&TF & thought it was crap so never bothered with the rest...

Another stupid loss in what is no more than a moving coffin if that's how you want to use any vehicle, I do feel for his family & daughter.
I hope they use his legacy to serve for greater road safety...

It was estimated speed from the people that were there. If you've seen the wreck you'll realize they weren't going 100kph. There was almost nothing left of it.

That and people are only focusing on one person.

Roger Rodas was the driver, he also owned a performance and race prep shop called AE Performance, did quite a bit of racing work, and was also one of America's top wealth management advisors and portfolio managers.

I reckon his family will be suffering just as much. If not more knowing he was at the wheel.

More than likely, but I have zero sympathy for him. You won't see me joining the chorus of people saying RIP for a bloke I have never heard of. Either of them really.
