New here. Steam user name is Skitz. Avatar is a silhouette of a disabled dude mounted by a sheila. Registered for Sentul race 4. Can someone please friend me up on steam with the server password? Does the AACL use teamspeak or similar? Are penalties (eg. reduce speed to 50km/h if outside track detected) turned on during races? Cheers.

Hey guys,

I must of had a real derp moment the other day. I removed my entry for tonight's race thinking that entry was somehow for Friday night... Anyhow, I can't re-register for tonight since it's too late. Can an exception be made for this one time?

You should get an email with the details on it at some point this arvo.

Penalties are not on, although we expect people to respect the track limits.

Will post TS details up once I find them, unless someone else has them on hand?

I really enjoyed that combo last night, would have been great with more drivers.
Kudos to RenZ & Righty for sacrificing practice & giving us mortals a chance at seeing them in the races, if only for a very short time. :p
Great debut Skitz, I enjoyed the pressure you applied for race 1. Also thanks to Righty for the clean battle at the start of race 2, I enjoyed it for the few corners it lasted.
Also congrats Ranga, from where I was it seemed you had a cleaner set of races this week.

As a compact 4 week series I think it filled the gap well, I enjoyed the BMW much more than that POS FIAT.
Big thanks to Pix & norbs for all their hard work in running the nights & doing the results & points tally.

Now time to dial in Spa for a little 2hr race next week. :D
Lets drum up the interest & see if we can fill the grid for it. ;)

Well that turned into a bit of a fizzer of a night for me. The T1 incident in race 1 put me way down the field and made for a fairly uneventful race.

Race 2, it was T3 on the first lap that did me in. Hylas was passing on the inside coming into the braking zone and squeezed me into the weeds. His minor impact was enough to push me out into the wall which then bent the front left suspension. Driving with your steering out by up to 30 degrees is a bit of a challenge.

I need to apologise to everyone affected by my lag spike late in race 2. As it turns out my Mrs decided to load up a web page of about 100 hi-res images at that point. I would have thought my 30mbps cable interwebs could have handled it, but it would appear that the latency was heavily affected. From my point of view, everything looked fine until somebody's car went flying through the cabin of my own.

Anyway, I've enjoyed the series. Thanks to admins and fellow racers.

Thanks Pix and Norbs for the series, I enjoyed the BMW rounds more than the FIAT too.

Eventually I found some speed which would have been a bit more fun if I was doing that from that start, but I had fun with the combo regardless. WD Ren on the wins, too quick again. Also, thanks Flinty for the brief battle, I nearly chopped your nose off at one point, but we all lived :D

I can't tell if I'm looking forward to the 2hr or not, but regardless I'll be there trying to flog the life out of the merc.
