Friday Night Fun. Who doesnt have Pcars? 19th June 2015
What to do tonight?
Last week there seemed to be more people wanting to play Pcars than AC. So I am not sure whether to persist with AC on Fridays or not. I am sure we can sort out a handicapped race in Pcars just as easy as AC.
Have your say here and I will try and sort something out this arvo.

Well, I'm too poor to get Pcars, but I'm also having people over tonight, so I won't be around regardless.
I suggest Lotus 49's and 72's at that karting track in Pcars.

PCARS! I have other game commitments tonight so I might not hang around in full, but I'll be there for pCars, not Assetto, lol.

My 2c.
Go CARS and just keep it simple and run some same class racing at a few tracks.

I'm keen but out till i get a new wheel it has roughly 60-180 degrees of complete and utter dead zone . It did this before and came good but it's like driving an old Falcon with rooted suspension heaps of wheel travel before anything kicks in.
And I think i will go the Thrustmaster T500RS there a tad pricey at $740.00 though... I was wondering if you gents would think it's a good idea to buy one from America ? Or it's not worth the warranty/power issues.

I'm expecting to get a call from work this evening to do an hour or two of work. Depending on how that pans out, I may be in. What flavour of racing doesn't matter to me.

There is so much of the standard content that we've never touched.slow069 wrote:i just think the format needs changing

I think it's the net code that lets it down as well as the visuals. I do prefer pCars over AC at the moment, that's for sure. I'm up for either game though.

Re: Friday Night Fun. Who doesnt have Pcars? 19th June 2015
your right r8 about how little content we have touched in it
and as for how it looks pcars is pretty but it isn't up to the driving standard that AC is
pcars is just an arcade game

Got any suggestions?
I am getting pretty frustrated with AC. I am getting stutters again, even with all apps off.
And pCARS runs smooth as butter at higher frame rates.
But I am happy to listen. Just want to have fun.

There is a lot we have touched. We are up to 40 nights of FNF.
Check this...
I am staying away from mod cars lately because of the sound issues a lot of them have.

One of the easiest I think would be to pick a track and one car and have short close races like you guys did with the ladanorbs wrote:r8response wrote:There is so much of the standard content that we've never touched.slow069 wrote:i just think the format needs changing

I've got no issues with running either of the games.
Which ever is easiest for you to setup and run is probably the best course.
