Williams do have a sense of humour, but does BMW?

Post by w00dsy »

apparently after bahrain Williams handed BMW a pic of Jacques car on fire with the caption 'chassis on fire, engine okay'. :D Obviously a refrence to all the media statements last year where Theissen finished with 'there was no problems with the engine'.

Here's it quoted from AA. Maybe they meant a pic of Nicks.
Asked what he thought when he saw the BMW engine blowing up in Jacque Villeneuves car in Bahrain, Williams director of engineering quipped "I don't think tears welled up in my eyes". BMW and Williams split last year under less than happy circumstances. The Williams mechanics printed up a photo of Villeneuves blazing blow up, put caption on it that said "Chassi on fire, engine okay" and gave it to the BMW guys.

Villeneuve's car blew up towards the end of the Bahrain GP and Nick's went towards the end of the Malaysian GP. :tilt:
