and you still don't.

One of those images has class (Zonda), the other (the ford supercar) was made by someone who though closeup fast jump cuts made a film looked cool and it doesn't.

I am sick to death of those people. It's next to impossible to get a feel for anything and yet this is how companies market things now. How am I supposed to get a feel for a car/game/movie when you just do half second cuts of the best action? Even Top Gear pisses me off the way they do it whenever they're showing off speed. I can't FUCKING appreciate how fast it's going if you keep changing the angle!

It's a style of imagry that breeds excitement, while you guys might not like it, you can't beat the research figures.

Come on man, 79% of people know that statistics are meaning less. Truth is, depending on how you phrase the question, you can make statistics say anything you like.

But, er, a question doesn't usually say anything, does it? I thought the answer was the real statement.

Nige is a stinking pom?

I stand corrected, by myself. Would that be correctabation?

Nige, the thing is, market research is done and they find out what appeals to the demographic they want the vehicle to appeal to. The fact you don't like it simply proves that the market research works. Ford just generally don't want people like you driving their cars. If a young lad with Fuel in his blood and cash to spend saw you driving a GT40, it'd put them off the brand for life....

Hz, it doesn't work. Trust me. Its what I do for a living. That jump cut fast paced edit just doesn't work. Its not done very well and doesn't allow for a further narrative. If you to see how to use the Fast jump cut have a look at the film Snatch.

Well fuck me, write a letter to one of the worlds best selling Car Manufacturers and tell them what they are doing wrong, then apply for the head marketer job. I'll be sitting here in anticipation waiting for the all new revised "Frod G4TO" marketing masterpiece.
